Re: Chatbox

I don't usually have a grim face, quite the contrary. And children at that age are not likely to tease each other in that way. I haven't had visual contact with any of his friends anyway. The last interaction I had with him was when I came back from buying groceries. He and his mom were in the gara...

Re: Chatbox

edit: I just remembered that my downstairs neighbors once said that ever since I have moved into the house, it is haunted. But they were talking in jest and referred to me as the ghost because they seldom see or hear me. So it could be that the boy only learned about ghosts on Halloween two months ...

Re: Grey

My own father used this method quite often. A high level of intellect combined with a constant quick stream of retorts led to the uttering of the phrase, "It was for your own good. You didn't turn out to too bad, did you?" No, I didn't, but it took a great deal of personal struggle to overcome the ...

Your typical orange types are not going to be interested in near death experiences, reincarnation and stuff like that.
Sounds exactly how my little brother is when I try to explain these things to him. Needs something else to prove him wrong first and then give some more to chew on.

Re: Are People Still Capable of Independent Thought?

I'm at the point in my life I'm really pissed off at having to read and learn for all of my damn life I have learned that emotions do affect the way we think and what we say so this might be the reason why you feel/"emote" this way now and in not too distant future. Maybe you would feel better some...

The footnotes in Su Wen indicate that "hoary" was a clear and pure heaven, and the "heaven" that exists now is more greenish in color.
Could they actually mean that it is in the cosmic side?

Re: Wu Xing & Alchemical Elements

Though I have not yet figured out where this "6th element" goes, but the references to "sky," "celestial," and "heaven" make me think it is "up" from the earthly elements. Maybe it goes to the middle of pentagonal points of other elements, to form a sort of five angled funnel in 3 dimensional conne...

Re: Shades of Grey

Great-Work-Alchemy.png You know isn't this a cross section of an anti-gravity drives core? It has the 3x in the middle there and 4 "arrows" pointing towards the center as applying of pressure to the chamber for "shifting gears" from gravity to anti-gravity or perhaps even to neutral a sort of hover...

Re: Alchemical correlations to RS2

Going with the later 7 stages, there is also another similar pattern: Calcination Dissolution Separation Conjunction Fermentation Distillation Coagulation I can see similarity in the "Mo pai Nei kung" basic practice, which is identical to Nei Dan (inner alchemy). Same thing in different terms used....

Re: Chatbox

As do the Christians... ask any Native American. I think it is the Tier 1 religious systems, in general. Not to mention Exodus 22:18, which condones homicide. In Finland there are practically no natives left, exept some in Lapland that I have no real info about, the Sami people I mean. Almost all o...

Re: Chatbox

If thats what you choose to focus on. True. Much like any other atrocity for any race of people or religious group. In fact Finland has suffered in the hands of Christian Crusaders when they brought their ways with them. Same thing is about to happen with the flooding of Islam into the whole Europe...

Re: Emotional Trauma -- Blessing or Curse

Because feelings are decisive, you can CHOOSE to feel what you feel, rather than be forced into an emotional reaction. I guess this goes for the emotional reaction towards annoying noises from neigbors as well, which makes one angry? I've been getting angry almost every night. At around 4 am they m...

Re: Are People Still Capable of Independent Thought?

The capability was, is, and will be there. But free will being the Prime rule, one « chooses » to or not to adhere to a particular school of thought. Perhaps not anymore when child grows up they might loose their independent thought. Take into account all the synthetic devices all around, when kids...

Re: Ignorance is Bliss

That is the nature of the evolution of consciousness. And also why dogs, cats and horses like to hang out with humans. And what's the technical term for dreaming the future, does this fall into the precognition category? I had a dream about an unfamiliar gypsy recently. My immediate thought was that she doesn't quite belong here and was perhaps visiting me in my dream. The dream stood definitely out, it felt odd. W...

Re: Cycle of Sleep

From my life experience, WHEN you go to sleep and wake up are the critical factors, not HOW LONG. The actual "old saying" is to wake and sleep with the sun--but the author was far more equatorial than most of us are. It is quite hard to wake up at this time around when sun isn't shining like at all...

I didnt knew you need "wear" a beard mine just keeps on growing on its own ;D The problem of my beard is that it is so such a mess and scarce and grows mostly to the right side so I deem it unworthy of growing it long at all, I tend to keep it very short. Some time...

Stationary ?

Even. Undecided.

Heh. Just came to from the song I heard while playing Fallout 4, "You are undecided now, so what are you going to do" - cant remember the singer but it is a woman and an old song from U.S.

Hope that helps or gives ideas. :)
