I recently watched the episode "Afterlife" (Season 2 Episode 15). It is perfect example why extraterrestrials (and LMs) wants nothing to do with humans. In the end they realize it and it was one of the best so far of them. Still got 5 more seasons left to watch em.

Have you seen the original series, from 1963-1964?

The most unsettling show I've EVER seen is from that series, "Wolf 359" (series 2, episode 8; a reference they used in ST-TNG with the Borg). Just thinking about it again gives me goosebumps. It is a classic "suspense" film, which means it is NOT "action adventure," like everything is these days. The film moves slowly--but that is how it builds suspense. It's worth it.

If you want the full impact, DO NOT look it up on the 'net... just WATCH it, late at night. In a way it is a shame that the Internet spoils so much--suspense works best when it catches you totally by surprise--not clue as to what is going to happen, whatsoever. And THAT is when you learn the most, as your mind and emotions are fully engaged--and in sync.

If you like, I can upload the AVI file.

I could take a look at it sure. Thanks.

Back to the show its been nice to see some of the cast that were in SG-1 also, and this one episode had "Goa'ulds" (different symbiotes not part of normal space and time) even which made me chuckle.

I have added it to the library as a "video loan."
See: Antiquatis Reference Library for access information.

You will have to download it, then watch locally on your computer, as there is not a video player available there. A good media player that plays just about everything is VLC Player. Been using it for years.

Used VLC for a long time, until reading it was vulnerable to targeted hacks, and started acting 'odd' on both my laptop and 'communicator' (eg. stopped working 'as expected'). Have been using MPV instead (recommend).

My VLC player has been working just fine. Mainly I use BSPlayer, have been for over 10 years now. VLC is for other formats/codecs that doesnt work on BSplayer but with more updates the older ones now work on BSplayer too. For music I use Winamp which hasn't seen new updates in years since they stopped doing that, it still works nicely though.

BSplayer has better rewinding/forwarding just press arrow buttons and you can skip like that, but only drawback is with skipping alot it tends to crash the darn program thats why it sucks. Still I can manage it.

I watched the "Wolf 359" episode yesterday and thought that it was quite creepy and thought about the "creature" or "spirit of the planet" as they postulated in that episode. It just killed all the living so it must've needed bioenergy to keep it self alive and growing. Still it was tied to the miniature planet they created in the lab, very strange when trying to compare to the real world.
