Hey Babe, What's your Sign?

Might be interesting to see the distribution across the Zodiac of the forum members. I know Aquarians like all this weird stuff, but how do other signs fare?

Is the opposite of an Aquarian an Antiquarian?

Tropical vs Sideral Zodiac

Post by Eccles » Mon Feb 12, 2007 6:51 am

Just a note to everyone. Sometimes, at your age and maturity, exactly which sign influences you the most can seem ambiguous, at best.

Our life on Earth may be guided by our Sun (and other planets) in the Tropical zodiac; however, our spiritual life--whatever that entails--may be influenced by the Sideral zodiac.

For 20% of the people, their Sun sign is the same in both zodiacs depending on their birth date, time and location.

However, for 80% of the people the sign rotates backward one sign. If you're a Tropical Pisces on Earth, then your spiritual life may be guided by Aquarius in the Sidereal zodiac.

Something to ponder as you grow older.

thanks for reminding eccles! My tropical is scorpio while my sidereal is libra - I am working to operate with them both - so I try to symbolically construct a relationship that is mutually beneficial. Symbolically, I let the scale hold the scorpio so that it operates in proper proportion to whatever is in the other balancing plate - instead of running amuck, stinger flailing as it oh so often does. Its helping me put my personality into a greater context of self and world - I am not at the center of attention, both good and bad, and there are many, many ways to accept, reject or ignore things.

'Sounds like a plan to me!!

It'll be interesting to see how your astrological strategy correlates to your individuation regarding your MBTI personality type as you grow older and wiser.

Peel those personality shells...nay, peal those personality shells!
