Re: Reboot of The Tomorrow People

Well now. In the latest episode no. 13 they show something of a twist in the end of the episode. I dont want spoil it though. I gotta say I kinda saw it coming from a mile away. Got very interesting now to see how it continues.

I think there are some "contradictions" about their technology for one there is alot of very old cars around and then in this one episode there was VHS tape :D and then they have these super cool papers with computers in them, its like what the heck man all tech from back in the "good old days" come...

I have watched few episodes of it today and it seems to be worth watching. And there is this very attractive young actress in it too in the role of Zoe, who created the AI in it.

Re: Denigration of the Future

So you guys don't foresee a future where we are no longer confined by the limitations that the ruling few have decided for the general population? I won't rest until we do see it! Good luck with the major insomnia mate :D I'm sorry, I like to go into details alot, a little nitpicking can't hurt now...

Not sure what you mean by "positive vision" for a slave, apart from a hammer hit to the skull to end the misery. If you have an hammer just bash the chains that hold you as a slave not the head that kills you mate. Thats more positive vision. Ok, so let me ask you why would man, who has made the ch...

Lost Girl

I wanna ask people here if some of you have been watching Lost Girl series, which is quite old now 4th season going on, very exiting. In the late season 3 I thnk there was some mentioning of "chi" as lifeforce. Again in season 4 there is once again stuff about chi. So this series is about this one w...

Re: Reboot of The Tomorrow People

Have you seen episode 10, "Rumble," yet? They have introduced a Mafia version of the Tomorrow People, who get high by beating saps to near death, when their "no kill I" switch kicks in, making them stop. Basically, violence as a psychoactive drug. It is amazing to what extremes that Hollywood will ...

Is it possible for my brain to explode from all of this?? LOL!! Because that is what it feels like I think soon you might(?) experience opposite to your excitement as depression or insignificance. Because it needs to be balanced so it might happen anytime soon or later in larger amounts. I know fro...

Re: Dream: Rebirth and Center of Infinity

As far as everyone in a dream being YOU, I tend to disagree a little bit. A long time ago, I made the intention that when I fall sleep, certain people who entered my dream were to play the role of themselves, and this has usually worked out perfectly. This is intriguing indeed, since almost everyti...

This dream is almost like something I've seen also some weird things and all that :D I think that you need to read some of the other dream related threads to understand what your dream is about. But I think it still is the cultural differencies that makes us the people we are today. I've watched the cultural differences disappear over the years. Your generation is more homo geneous than homo sapiens . All the kids look the same, dress the same, talk the same, act the same... and it seems t...

Actually, I've never quite understood why the LoO insists on only 2 possible paths STS or STO. The duality distorsion is not the end all be all so it seems. This is interesting and says alot about the fact that they have control over you if you choose a side. Much like all religions have. Although ...

Programming of children is the easiest way to do it. It became a corporate marketing plan to imprint logos on children, to redirect their behavior into sales figures. Started back in the 1970s, so anyone born after that time is "fully programmed." Take, for example, McDonalds... when they first ope...

Plus the added bonus of having to buy everything from megacorps, rather than do it yourself. That's why I have the Sanctuary Project--people need a place where they HAVE the time to study and think, in a comfortable though not exotic environment. When I was younger, I believed that technology would...

It is interesting you mention gargoyles and Godzilla at the same time... there's an old, French legend from which the name "gargoyle" derives, La Gargouille that was also known as the dragon Goji . The original spelling of Godzilla is Gojira --Goji. Interesting how the French and Japanese--on oppos...

Stargate SG-1 is the first that came after the movie Stargate in 1994 the series came about 1997 and continued till 2007 so ten years of good scifi. Stargate Atlantis from 2004 to 2009 and Stargate Universe from 2009 to 2011. All of these are my favourite series of all time. Of course the feature fi...

Loved the movie also, still have it on DVD have had it for many years though. I liked the way they made the movie, the stupid things that made me laugh so hard. Whereas telepathy is nonlocal, you do not have to be near it to use it--you just have to find the gateway. These "access terminals" to the Archive are just places on the Earth where the conditions are optimal for making the connection, and the stone forest is a consequence of that kind of energy. P...
