Re: The Law of One

At the very least (IIRC), that material contains an understanding that people are their own worst enemies and that the primary focus should be one becoming a complete person before trying to do anything else. I agree with this. I am still bothered by the difficulty this entails; it actually seems a...

Re: Where have all the wizards gone?

From Chapter 5: The Wizard Era, The thing that people, I think, don’t appreciate right now is that they are already a cyborg. You’re already a different creature than you would have been twenty years ago, or even ten years ago. You’re already a different creature. Resistance is futile. You can see t...

Re: Hex Education -- An Analysis of Magick

What about the "shadow" of the soul body, the aura? Is it comprised of cosmic atoms? That could be why magick and electronics do not mix. The spatial displacement of the aura around the material body freezes any nearby electric currents, since s/s is not motion. The aura is the nonlocal aspect of t...

Re: Brought to you in Living Color

I love this. And it reminds me of something I ponder all the time when looking at nature. I'll look at the leaves, the trees, the grass, the lake; a landscape that's full of life, and I think, this ...is... beautiful.. or it's supposed to be. Maybe I'm just not in the right state of mind to apprecia...

Re: The Men Who Stare at Goats (2009)

I watched that film, several years ago, after seeing this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kY-BMXHWXY Stubblebine was one of those guys that got me a bit curious. Of course, this was also back when I thought Ventura was legit. But then I started thinking, "Could this guy be for real?" http://i.dai...

Re: The Men Who Stare at Goats (2009)

I followed Courtney Brown for a little while a few years ago, but he did this 10 week promotional piece that was supposed to end with some revolutionary information, and it ended up being a promo for his new DVD production. Which is fine. You got to make a living. But his trailer for it was full of ...

This is a clip from the movie Men who Stare at Goats that I feel has great relevance to doing magick. If you can't move your feet, you can't move your mind. Forgive the poor quality audio.

She has a large following, which means its not serious. But what gets me is how authentic her "lack of intelligence" is at her age. She's a professional troll at her age. Some say she's brilliant. Yet I'm perplexed I'm starting to see this trollish persona among younglings these days. It's a level o...

Re: Entertrainment

Hmmm, is this a trick question? :-) Not entertaining, per say; more thought provoking. I consider entertainment to be a suspension of the thinking process. This is the conclusion I arrived at as well. Reminds me of Tier One magick not being any fun to do, but is extremely gratifying in the end if y...

Re: Entertrainment

I like all of these old definitions of entertainment! I will entertain them to reach the truth of the matter . Entertainment has become an item of consumption. I am reminded of soldiers off at war. The grief, the weariness. Comedies are provided to maintain their spirits, whether by theater producti...

Re: Frequency of Thunderstorms

Most of the lightning here is sky-to-ground... massive bolts and loud booms. Only a few, but those will rattle the walls, then a severe downpour that will overwhelm the gutters in the streets. Then it is over. It is like an hour-long storm got compressed into 15 minutes. I was basically going to sa...

Re: Hex Education -- An Analysis of Magick

Electrons (s) are backwards in conventional physics, being cosmic in nature. Charged electrons are material (s x t/s = t). So electric current (uncharged) cannot pass through the soul, as space-to-space is not motion. Charged electrons (static electricity or radio waves) do pass through the soul, b...

Re: Hex Education -- An Analysis of Magick

Your horcrux example, for instance, when you speak that time-to-time does not constitute motion, I picture the concept that space is a reference system of location and time fills that space. Time is actual structure we see, the particles, the stuff. And when you swing a pickaxe at a piece of ore, i...

If these were taken by a trail cam, why does it seem like the moon is further away from the electrical post in the first picture than the second picture within a two-second gap?

Assuming its the moon, that is. Airplane?

That is a pretty cool looking creature though if it is one.

Re: Mandela Effect

My conclusion, thus far, is that the external reality is NOT changing--but minds are being reprogrammed by auditory reconditioning (sounds, voice and music) and the Mandela Effect is one of those "beta test" systems to see how effective it actually is. In the case of Shannon Doherty vs Shannen Dohe...

Re: Hex Education -- An Analysis of Magick

Before I go to sleep to process the coding of Re: Salmon, I want to express my sentiment towards the implications of "Tier Two" magick. Tier Two magick is the instant, "Harry Potter"-style magick that occurs at will, right? If so, I want to stress that such abilities are necessary to legitimize rese...

Re: Spontaneous Psychic Ability

Perhaps this is one such inhibition as was mentioned in the OP that keeps our species from developing the psychic abilities that we are most certainly capable of. Most of us here have experienced these to some extent at some point or another, but it's the next step that will see us growing into the...
